Hola Familia!!
How are you doing?!! I’m really sad that the Broncos lost. A member in the local ward here called me last night and said “Elder Dahlin I’m not sure if this is a good thing or not but it says that the Seahawks have 43 and the Broncos have 8”..........haha. The good news is that Peyton is the MVP. This week was good we have a lot of people going to church right now, we should have a good month. My new comp is awesome, he’s a cool guy. He has the same time in the mission as I do. The zone is looking good too each month, we are getting better and better.
The sad part of the letter is that Jose Aragon, the old guy that lost his wife, doesn’t want anything to do with us. About 2 weeks ago we called him and he said that he was getting a treatment in the hospital and that he was going to be gone for 2 months. On Tuesday we went to see if he was home and when we knocked we heard someone inside but no one opened the door. We knocked and knocked but no one came. There is a hole in his door so we looked through and my comp saw shoes move under the bed. We opened the door from the inside and when we walked in we saw him trying to hide under the bed. We asked him what was wrong and he said ¨I dont know you people, why did you take my wife, why did you kidnap her.¨ When we came in we saw that he had a Jehova´s Witness bible and a bunch of their pamphlets on his table. The family had told him that we were the reason that his wife died and now he doesn’t talk to us anyone. His son that got baptized is the same way and he didn’t show up to get confirmed. I was really sad. The opposition is strong here, a lot of religions are out to do bad. We are not going to give up on him and we will have the members keep visiting.
The crazy cool part is that on Wednesday we got robbed haha I was talking on the phone and two 20 year old punks came out of nowhere, put their arms around our shoulders and said that they had guns and that we needed to give them everything. They only took 10.000 pesos which is like 5 bucks becuase people started passing by, but it was pretty nuts haha. Just another day in Colombia : )

Hola Familia!!
How are you guys doing?!! Nothing too crazy to report, I didn’t get robbed this week so that is pretty good...haha. I have been pretty sick for the last couple days, I’ve had a feaver with a bad cough. I haven’t been able to sleep very well. I’m getting better though. It has been a pretty good week, things are going really well in the ward. For the first time ever 180 people were at church!! The Ward Council is finally working together and the members are starting to get excited. The mission President and his wife were there in our ward yesterday and they said it’s been a long time since they’ve seen this ward functioning so well. I’m really glad I got to stay for another transfer. We should have some baptisms these next couple weekends, the family that was going to get married should have all their papers this week finally.....haha We had a zone leader council on thursday and we had a Skype session with Elder Mickelson an ermitus 70 who was the mission president here from 1984 to 1987 it was pretty cool. He set the record for the most baptisms in one month so he gave us some of his secrets haha.
We´ve had a good experience this week helping an older lady in our ward. Her son had to leave the city for work and he´ll be gone for 3 months and they have a big dog named Tyson and she’s too old to take him out to do his business and so every day this week we get up at 5:45am, run to her house which is freaking far away haha and take the dog on a walk. This´ll be our life for the next 3 months. She reminds me a lot of Sister McAllister, I think that’s why I do it:)
My return date is June 3rd!!! Everyone is invited to the airport!!! haha

Hola Familia!!!
Whats up?!!! How are things going? How are the Olympics going? This week was pretty tough. We didn’t teach very much and a lot of our investigators lost interest in going to church. The family that we were going to help get married got the news that Javier doesn’t have any of the papers that he needs to get married. They don’t exist. His wife was really sad and looked up on the internet about the church and found a whole bunch of anti-bad stuff about the church and now doesn’t want to get married or go to church. She said that we trick people into believing our message. I was really sad, I’ve been working with this family for like 4 months. Others that we had ready for baptism didn’t get permition from their parents or another problem came up. We did have a baptism yesterday which was good. Her name is Maryluz. Her and her family live in a small town called Yumbo that is part of our area and they started coming to church about 3 weeks ago. Her husband has problems with the word of wisdom but hopefully her example will help him. We are working a lot more in this small town, there was a church/branch there about 30 years ago but the branch president robbed the tithing and the branch sort of fell apart. There are a lot of good members there in Yumbo that want to help out and that want to go to church. We are going to start a project and start a fund so that they can come to Cali for church.
I’m still sick, this coughed that I’ve had for 2 weeks turned into a sinus infection and its getting the best of me. I’m taking antibiotics that should start helping out.
